As a Soft Tissue Therapist with over 20 years experience providing Sports and Remedial Massage, I run a successful private practice in Brentwood, Essex and over the years have worked at many events including the 2012 London Olympic Games.  In 2017 at a conference, I discovered the world of scar therapy.

Like many people, I have scars.  Some are a result of injury (I was a very clumsy child) and some of surgery.  I thought they had healed well, however, it wasn’t until I had ScarWork that underlining issues were revealed.  Adhesions from my caesarean caused my left hip to stick and cramp when running on the spot.  After ScarWork treatment I was able to go through full range without any sticking, restrictions or cramping.  I was amazed!!

Inspired by the treatment, I trained in Sharon Wheeler’s ScarWork, becoming a Certified ScarWork Therapist and Post Breast Cancer ScarWork Therapist.

Since 2018, I have continued my training with Sharon Wheeler’s ScarWork.  To strengthen my practice, I recertified under Emma Holly’s new Restore Therapy Method, this encompasses a holistic approach with a higher degree of knowledge and understanding, incorporating the use of IASTM, cupping and taping, why it’s important to use products, consider nutrition and other factors when treating a person with scars.

In 2022 I was asked to be part of the teaching team when Restore Therapy expanded.  I am currently a Lead Tutor for the Scar Therapy Practitioner Certification Courses.

I treat an assortment of scars, from c-sections to hip replacements and cosmetic surgeries, from post cancer surgeries to RTA injuries and gender reassignment surgeries.  Since being part of the Restore family, I have worked with Invictus Athletes prior to the Sydney 2018 Invictus Games and more recently, alongside Emma and the other Restore Tutors I provided treatments for burn survivors at the Dan’s Fund for Burns, Adult Burn Survivor Weekend.

I have found that many clients receive little, ill-informed or no aftercare when it comes to their scar.  They often feel alone and left to put up with their symptoms.  I am here to help see if we can change that and give my clients a brighter future.
